The Poker Dealer's Practice Companion

EXERCISE: STUB

The Stub exercise allows you to practice calculating the number of cards remaining in the stub (the stub is the cards remaining in the dealer’s hand, after all cards have been dealt).

The options for the Stub exercise are:

Hide Desktop - If this option is on, the desktop of your computer will be covered during game play. This may be helpful if you have a busy desktop.

Background Color - This option determines the color used to cover the desktop if the Hide Desktop option is on. It is also used to determine the background color of the Game Window. To set the color, click the color swatch and select the desired color.

Number of Players - This option determines how many players will be at the table during play. Choosing “Random” will cause DealMaster to randomly select the number of players for each hand. The maximum number of players in 7 Card Stud is 7.

Player Response Time [X] seconds - Players will sometimes fold. This will effect the stub count. This option determines how fast the computer player will check, bet or fold.
