STUDENT INFORMATION

You can complete a student placement card in either ClassMaker or in Report Card Maker. The advantage to doing it in RCM is that the student names and information (such as student ID#'s) are already complete.

Teachers make quick evaluations on each student. They decide the academic level (above, at or below grade level) as well as the behavior characteristics of the child. Special programs and ELD levels are also completed. They can even enter a message to next year's teacher. Once this information is complete for each student, ClassMaker will use this information to place each student in the proper classroom.

Use this window to set the criteria for a specific classroom. For instance, if you set this classroom to allow students who are ABOVE or AT grade level, then any students who are BELOW grade level would not be placed in this classroom.
