Assigning Weights

Weights allow you to define how much of the averaged grade each Topic will receive. For example, if you want Tests and Quizzes to account for 60% of the final grade, and homework to account for 40% of the grade, assigning weights will allow you to accomplish this.

To access the Weights, choose Topics & Weights from the Gradebook menu.

Weights can be the same for all subjects, or you can set them differently.

To assign Weights to individual subjects, click the desired subject from the subject buttons above. Then click the current weight of the topic you want to change. Change the Weights as desired. Use the tab key to tab through the topics.

If you want to apply the same Weights to all subjects, click the Apply Weights to All Subjects button

When you have set the Weights as desired, click Done.
